Madeline Grimes

Monus Entrepreneurship Fellow

Madeline Grimes is a Monus Entrepreneurship Fellow at Youngstown Business Incubator, where she assists portfolio companies on projects related to market research, social media, sales forecasting and business development. A student at Youngstown State University, she studies Arts Administration and Marketing Management with a minor in Nonprofit Leadership.

Prior to working with the YBI, she interned with several organizations, including the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and Youngstown State University Student Government Association. She has completed research on socioeconomic, financial and market sensitivity among regional symphony orchestras and is a contributor to the Americans for the Arts ARTSBLOG.

At YSU, Madeline is a performing musician with the Dana School of Music Symphony Orchestra and studies privately with Dr. Kathryn Thomas Umble. She has attended international research and leadership conferences on behalf of the YSU Honors College and Beta Gamma Sigma, as well as performed with the Dana School of Music Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Upon graduation, Madeline looks forward to continuing her application of business concepts to nonprofits and helping individuals reach their personal and professional goals.
