YBI/Jet Creative Announce Marketing Partnership

A partnership between Youngstown Business Incubator (YBI) and marketing firm Jet Creative will give entrepreneurs their own quality website and marketing materials at discounted rates.

The announcement comes with the unveiling of YBI’s new website, also designed and produced by Jet, which features simple navigation, a fresh look and detailed information for entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and the public.

“A business’s front door today is no longer on Main Street; it’s a digital door on the internet,” YBI CEO Barb Ewing said. “This partnership will allow YBI companies to have a global marketplace presence. Jet Creative did a great job on our website, so we are eager to see what they will do for our companies.”

YBI will coordinate the entire process between its clients and Jet, from planning and organization through closeout. Through a community-first approach, Jet will offer a three-tier pricing structure based on the client’s financial stability, time in business and current marketing status.

“We’re very excited for this,” Brittany Housel, YBI director of program management, said. “The ladies of Jet Creative have been great friends and partners not only of the YBI, but also the YBI’s Women in Entrepreneurship Program. It’s a natural fit, and I hope this partnership can be replicated for other marketing firms and startups across NEO.”

As the partnership develops, YBI and Jet hope to build a model that other business incubators can use to collaborate with external marketing firms and enhance the visibility of their portfolio companies.

“There is a common need within business incubators for quality and affordable marketing for companies working so hard and risking it all to turn their passions into their careers. The YBI team is very progressive in recognizing this need and are extremely dedicated to helping their portfolio companies succeed,” Jet Owner and President Sarra Mohn said.

Payment plan options will also be available as part of Jet’s and YBI’s commitment to the economic growth of Northeast Ohio.

“We understand what it feels like to be a start-up company and have people in the community offer support. We are grateful for all who helped and continue to help us and we want to pay it forward to others taking a risk to do what they love,” Jet Owner and VP Emily Rusu said.
