WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS + MINORITY OWNED BUSINESSES
Create is phase 1 of the Accelerator Program. Create is a 5-week program that offers four workshops and educational sessions to help MBAC and WE Clients who are ready to enter the world of entrepreneurship, but need help developing an idea.
The program is open to any Woman, African American, Hispanic American, Native American Asian American, and Economically or Socially Disadvantaged Individuals in Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, Jefferson, Belmont or Monroe Counties.
This program offers an opportunity for the business to gain access to free technical training that will assist in getting started.
Create is designed to prepare aspiring entrepreneurs for their future endeavors. At the end of Create, the participant should know if they are ready or not to be an entrepreneur, if the business idea is viable, and have a complete Business Model Canvas to guide them to the next level of entrepreneurship.
Class Information
Classes will be held at the Youngstown Business Incubator (YBI) at 241 W. Federal Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44503 on Wednesday evenings (April 12th – May 10th) from 5:00-7:00 pm.
Selection Process
Space is limited so acceptance will be on a first come, first served basis. Once reviewed, an email will be sent to confirm acceptance along with program guidelines.
Program Fee
There is a $50.00 non-refundable fee due upon acceptance, with information to follow upon acceptance. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE.
