Commerce Department agency, the Economic Development Administration’s (EDA) mission is to lead the federal economic development agenda by promoting innovation and competitiveness, preparing American regions for growth and success in the worldwide economy. YBI has received funding for renovations to YBI and TBB5 and administration dollars for Valley Growth Ventures.
The Northeast Ohio Regional Acceleration in Digital Innovation, or NEO ReADI, is a grant managed by the Lorain County Community College to support innovation and commercialization of key technologies anchored in the region. The goal of the program is to "grow and attract investment for the core regional digital technology cluster, ranging from sensors to the Internet of Things.”
In April 2016, the YBI and Huntington Bank announced a 4 year commitment to the YBI for the The Huntington Bank Entrepreneurship Program for Information Technology.
