Strangpresse LLC, a Youngstown Business Incubator Portfolio Company, is proud to be part of the NIAR (National Institute for Aviation Research) at Wichita State University.

Strangpresse Models 19 & 30 polymer pellet-fed extruder heads are both part of the Research Center. The Model 30 is mounted on a large robotic arm and gantry crane structure, was featured and demonstrated in the Multi-Robotic Additive Manufacturing (MRAM) Lab.

The MRAM makes it possible to explore any shape without restriction, and can 3D print chopped fiber composite, mill, scan and execute many other advanced manufacturing techniques to accelerate production, lowering the number of parts, and eliminate manufacturing waste.
