Lake to River Small Business Success.

The Lake to River Small Business Success Program works directly with entrepreneurs to support small business development in the eastern corridor of Ohio (Ashtabula, Columbiana, Jefferson, Mahoning, Monroe, Trumbull, and Belmont counties). The LTRSBS Program aims to create as many success stories as possible by providing business resources and knowledge to those participating. YBI’s Certified Business Advisors (CBA) work directly with small business owners for access to capital, pursuing procurement opportunities, business plan and economic development, adopting advanced technologies (in manufacturing and non-manufacturing settings), and other forms of business counseling to support startup formation in the state of Ohio.

Rebuilding the community.

Communities all over America have seen their local economies experience serious hardship. With local governments struggling to rebuild their businesses, business assistance centers like YBI needed to step in. Helping to bring sustainability to eastern Ohio businesses, this program allows companies to find work and continue to improve at what they do.

This expansion into the eastern corridor allows more Ohio companies to participate in training programs and learn more about entrepreneurship. These types of support initiatives bring Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) to develop small business communities. They can also help minority businesses, businesses owned by those with disabilities, and women-owned businesses.
