YE LAUNCHpad provides youth entrepreneurship support: teaching entrepreneurship classes and guiding student entrepreneurs. It was created to help young people sharpen their business, leadership, and communication skills, transforming them into the next generation of business owners.

This informative 15-week accelerated educational program fosters an entrepreneurial mindset to navigate the business world while developing important life skills like problem-solving, collaboration, and risk-taking. Personalized mentorship opportunities and classes focused on important entrepreneurship skills (like obtaining financing and pitching their own business) help each YE LAUNCHpad participant to find their voice.

This entrepreneurship program helps students gather the tools needed to turn their small business idea into a successful business plan. At the end of their 15-week entrepreneurship education, attendees can register their startup to do business in Ohio while understanding the art of a successful pitch and the basics of financial literacy.

Graduates are connected with important members of the entrepreneurship ecosystem. They are introduced to the procurement officers of local governments and agencies (like the Chamber of Commerce,) capital providers (like lending agents and investors, where appropriate), and established business leaders for potential joint ventures.

There is a non-refundable $50.00 fee per youth entrepreneur due upon admittance to the entrepreneurship education program.
